A Family Business

The Michalski’s

As a family that has been through all of the difficulties of raising two great boys in our current economic and political landscape, we have been through it all. From dealing with childcare to looking for great family time activities that are safe and inclusive for everyone. We want to make it easier for families to have a space that is fun and exciting where you can bring your family and have a great time, so we opened Elite Gaming Center. Having dealt with summer child care, we know that finding the right place to look after your children can be difficult and we decided to launch our business along side offering a summer day camp where kids can learn the same valuable lessons we teach our boys; good screen time habits, conflict resolution, and good sportsmanship win or lose.

I have had a passion for video games and sports since a very young age. I wrestled and played football at East Valley High School. Afterwards, I joined the U.S. Army and am currently an OEF Veteran having served a tour of duty in Iraq. My incredible wife and I started our family after I exited the military, deciding to stay in the community we love in Spokane to raise our boys. Like many others after the military, I was unsure of what I wanted to do. I went to school and achieved an AA degree at SCC, then worked different jobs every 2-3 years until the Pandemic hit. As restrictions began to lift after the Pandemic, I felt it was time to open our own business to give back to the community we love by offering a safe and fun environment where kids and families can feel at home when they visit.

I grew up in Liberty Lake, our house was always busy as the whole neighborhood would come for gatherings and breakfasts regularly. This built a great sense of community for me and a love for this area and the people within it. I have always tried to foster that feeling of togetherness within my home, volunteering to host dinners and get togethers for our family and friends. I proudly graduated from Central Valley High School, go Bears! I have now worked for Travelers Insurance for 11 years and that same sense of working together is felt between myself and co-workers. My husband and I finally decided to take that a step further and create a place that not just family and friends could come together, but also the community, including schools and businesses in the area.
